Here at Queen’s Park we're all about the tennis. We offer a full programme for adults and juniors so whether you have never played tennis before, haven’t played for a long time, or indeed you play regularly and want to compete or improve your technique we can help. We offer everything tennis, so browse our website and see what sessions you fancy coming along to. New players and members are always welcome!
On court successes in 2017!
Queens Park Community Tennis Club competes in Cup and League Competitions regulated by Tennis Scotland and Tennis West of Scotland. During the year our Ladies Team won Division 3b and our Mens Vets won League 7b and will compete in Dvisions 2 and 6 respectively in 2018. Our Mens Team won the Junior Calcutta Cup, having been Finalists ins 2016 and our Mixed Doubles Team won the Clydesdale Cup. The Trophies were presented at the Awards Night in late November by Leon Smith, Team GB Davis Cup Captain.
Our Saturday Morning Programme returns on Saturday 17 February 2018. Same time! Same place! Same price! Our 9.30 am session is for 5 to 9 year olds and the 10.30 am session is for 10 to 16 year olds.
Our Winter Social Tennis Sessions on Sunday at 2 pm and Monday at 7 pm continue throughtout the winter. From April Cardio Tennis returns and Monday Night Social becomes a session for Intermediate level and above. Social for Beginners/Rusty Rackets returns on Thursday evenings and Sunday Social continues for all levels. Revised and improved for 2017 is Tennis Tuesday, Ladies Only Social Tennis.
Our Coached Programme returns on a Tuesday evening and Tennis Xpress returns in May, so go online now to book your space!
The summer leagues start towards the end of April. If you are a member and interested in playing in these matches contact our Match Secretary, email@example.com For those wanting to get some training in before the matches start, sign up for our Squad Training Sessions which commence in February.
Wimbledon Ballot is Open
To be included in the Club Ballot you must:
- be a British Tennis Member affiliated to Queen's Park Tennis Courts and Community Tennis Club. Not a British Tennis Member, follow this link and sign up now.
- Opt-In to the ballot - follow this link and opt in now.
- Make sure you pay your Club Membership before 30 April 2018.
- Ballot closes on Friday 23 February 2018.

REMEMBER - Even if you are not able to go to Wimbledon, Opt In anyway and increase the Club allocation.
Please note that you cannot book courts through Queen's Park Community Tennis Club.
Enjoy playing tennis, but please respect the facility! Do not ignore any abuse of the facilities. Report it to the Attendant, if facility not staffed, contact Duty Officer on 0141 276 0810. Similarly if the lights are not on, please report it on the same number, please do not contact the Club, as we have no access to the system.
